Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia naik pada Rabu (25/10/2023) dipicu berlanjutnya ketegangan di Timur Tengah.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Desember 2023 naik US$1,65, atau sekitar 1,97 persen, menjadi US$85,39 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Desember 2023 meningkat US$2,06, atau sekitar 2,34 persen, menjadi US$90,13 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Israel telah meningkatkan aksi pengeboman di selatan Jalur Gaza seiring akan berlangsungnya serangan darat ke wilayah tersebut. Rencana invasi Israel menyebabkan jutaan warga Palestina mengungsi.

Peningkatan harga minyak dunia terbatasi meningkatnya cadangan minyak mentah Amerika Serikat sebesar 1,4 juta barel pekan lalu menjadi 421,1 juta barel. Peningkatan yang terjadi melampaui ekspektasi peningkatan 240.000 barel.
