Pasardana.id - Harga minyak dunia turun pada Senin (16/10/2023) dipicu optimisme peningkatan pasokan.

Seperti dilansir Reuters, harga minyak West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman November 2023 turun 29 sen, atau sekitar 0,37 persen, menjadi US$87,30 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange.

Harga minyak mentah Brent untuk pengiriman Desember 2023 merosot 59 sen, atau sekitar 0,67 persen, menjadi US$90,27 per barel di London ICE Futures Exchange.

Pemerintah Amerika Serikat dan Venezuela bersiap untuk menandatangani kesepakatan di Barbados yang dapat memulihkan aktivas industri perminyakan di Venezuela. Sebagai balasan, Venezuela harus mengadakan pemilihan presiden yang kompetitif dan terpantau tahun depan.

Pulihnya aktivitas industri perminyakan Venezuela berpotensi meningkatkan pasokan ke pasar minyak mentah global.
