Wall Street Dibuka Menguat setelah Inflasi Tingkat Produsen Melebihi Ekspektasi
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Amerika Serikat (AS), Wall Street, dibuka menguat pada Rabu (11/10/2023). Setelah rilis data inflasi di tingkat produsen melebih ekspektasi pasar.
Dow Jones Industrial Average menguat 0,27% menjadi 33.829,52, S&P 500 menanjak 0,32% di 4.372,03, sedangkan Nasdaq Composite tumbuh 0,46% di level 13.625,31.
Wall Street Ditutup Menguat Usai Komentar Pejabat The FedLaporan Departemen Tenaga Kerja menunjukkan indeks harga produsen (PPI) untuk periode September meningkat 0,5% MtM. Angka inflasi di tingkat produsen ini lebih tinggi dari ekspektasi sebesar 0,3 persen MtM, tetapi masih lebih rendah dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya yang mencapai 0,7 persen MtM.
PPI inti yang tidak termasuk komponen pangan dan energi naik 0,3% MtM dibandingkan ekspektasi 0,2% MtM. Analis melihat pelaku pasar telah mengantisipasi kenaikan ini sebelumnya di tengah peningkatan harga energi dunia.
