Wall Street Dibuka Terguncang Jelang Rapat The Fed
IDXChannel - Indeks utama Wall Street dibuka melemah pada perdagangan Senin (2/10/2023), menjelang pertemuan Gubernur Federal Reserve Jerome Powell.
Tekanan jual juga muncul setelah imbal hasil atau yield surat utang Amerika Serikat bertenor 10 tahun meningkat ke level tertingginya.
Wall Street Pekan Ini: Dibayangi Sentimen Melonjaknya Imbal Hasil ObligasiDow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) koreksi 0,22 persen di 33.433,84, S&P 500 (SPX) turun 0,15 persen di 4.281,67, sedangkan Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) melemah 0,07 persen menjadi 13.210,53.
Pimpinan bank sentral atau The Fed Jerome Powell akan menghadiri diskusi terbuka dengan para pengusaha lokal mengenai strategi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Powell bakal hadir bersama Presiden Fed wilayah Philadelphiia, Patrick Harker, yang dijadwalkan pada pukul 11 siang waktu setempat atau pukul 22.00 waktu Indonesia.
