Former Fed Chairman: It is very likely that the US will have a recession

• Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said a US recession is a "most likely outcome" as the central bank tightens monetary policy to curb inflation.
• While the two most recent monthly reports show a gradual slowdown in consumer price growth, Greenspan, now a senior economic adviser at Advisors Capital, said: “I don't think that will guarantee it. a pivot in the Fed's stance and policy - at least it won't be enough to avoid a mild recession," he said in a Q&A commentary on the ACM's website released on Tuesday.
