KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Hantaman konsumsi rumah tangga bertambah. Merespon efek gulir kenaikan inflasi akibat kenaikan bahan bakar minyak (BBM), Bank Indonesia (BI) mengerek lagi suku bunga acuan 50 basis poin (bps) dalam Rapat Dewan Gubernur BI minggu lalu. Ini artinya dalam dua bulan terakhir, bunga sudah naik 75 bps.
Menjadi semakin tertekan, lantaran kenaikan bunga diprediksi akan berlanjut, seiring kenaikan suku bunga Amerika Serikat, menyusul global. Bunga tinggi akan menyulut inflasi bunga kredit. Tak pelak, ini akan menambah beban masyarakat yang terlanjur mengambil kredit saat pandemi
