JAKARTA - Pasar Modal Indonesia masih mencatatkan pertumbuhan yang positif di tengah tantangan pandemi global sepanjang 2022. Adapun per 8 Agustus 2022, Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) mencatat pertumbuhan indeks global 7,68% dan saat ini masih yang tertinggi di kawasan Asean.
Direktur Utama BEI Iman Rachman mengatakan, di tahun 2022 sendiri tepatnya 21 April, Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) berhasil mencapai rekor tertinggi dalam sejarah bangsa Indonesia yaitu menembus level 7.276.
"Dan kemarin malam sebagai informasi kita juga sudah tembus 7.000, sebagaimana kita menjabat periode awal setelah RUPS 29 Juni, indeks kita turun merah dan di angka 6.800 tapi dalam 3 hari terakhir indeks kembali tembus ke 7.102," ujar Iman dalam sambutan di acara HUT ke-45 Pasar Modal Indonesia, Rabu (10/8/2022).
