KONTAN.CO.ID-JAKARTA. Ekonomi Indonesia belum lekang dari bayang-bayang inflasi tinggi. Tren lonjakan inflasi ini berpotensi menghambat pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia karena menggerus daya beli masyarakat, tulang punggung ekonomi kita.
Kemarin, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mengumumkan bahwa inflasi Juli 2022 sebesar 0,64% month on month (mom) atau 4,94% year on year (yoy). Pendorong inflasi, selain lonjakan harga pangan, adalah harga yang diatur pemerintah alias administered prices. Pada Juli 2022, komponen administered prices mencatatkan inflasi 1,17% mom atau 6,51% yoy, dan berandil 0,21% terhadap laju inflasi nasional.
