KONTAN.CO.ID - Unilever PLC mengatakan tidak akan menaikkan tawaran 50 miliar pound atau US$ 68 miliar yang telah ditolak untuk bisnis perawatan kesehatan konsumen GlaxoSmithKline. Pernyataan dari perusahaan consumer goods asal Inggris itu serta-merta mengerek tipis harga sahamnya sekitar 2% pada Hari Kamis (20/1).
Sementara harga saham GSK turun kurang lebih 2% ke bagian bawah FTSE 100. Penurunan harga saham itu adalah efek dari pernyataan Unilever sebelumnya pada Hari Rabu yang secara efektif mengakhiri pengejaran bisnis perawatan kesehatan konsumen GSK.
