KONTAN.CO.ID - MUMBAI. Pasca rekor Penawaran Umum Perdana (IPO) tahun ini, pada Hari Selasa (28/12) regulator pasar modal India memperkuat aturan bagi perusahaan yang akan go public. Kebijakan baru yang bertujuan melindungi investor ritel itu, di sisi lain berpotensi mengerem beberapa rencana IPO.
Menurut aturan baru, ada batas tingkat penerimaan dari penerbitan baru yang dapat digunakan perusahaan untuk pengambilalihan jika perusahaan belum menentukan target akuisisi dalam dokumen penawarannya. Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) telah menetapkan batasan yang dimaksud.
