“美国政府的资助杯水车薪” 近两成美国家庭疫情期间花光全部储蓄
近日，美国一项最新调查显示，新冠肺炎疫情期间，近20%的美国家庭花光了全部储蓄。
该项调查由美国全国公共广播电台、罗伯特·伍德·约翰逊基金会等于8月2日至9月2日期间联合开展，调查样本为3616名成年人。
调查显示，有近20%的美国家庭在新冠肺炎疫情期间花光了全部储蓄。其中，年收入低于5万美元的美国家庭中，有30%花光了全部储蓄；年收入高于5万美元的家庭中，9%花光全部储蓄。调查还显示，将近三分之二年收入低于5万美元的美国家庭难以支付房租、看病和食品的开销，尤以非洲裔和拉美裔家庭受冲击较大。
大约三分之二的受调查者说他们在过去数月间领取政府资助。44%的受调查者则认为，美国政府资助项目对于缓解困境仅是“杯水车薪”。
罗伯特·伍德·约翰逊基金会副会长阿弗内尔·约瑟夫表示，美国的经济复苏并不平衡，如果美国政府不能为这个国家绘制一个更平等的将来，那些因临时资助短暂摆脱困境的家庭仍将重陷贫困。
