Sektor Jasa China dan Jepang Menurun di Agustus 2021

KONTAN.CO.ID - SHANGHAI. Ekonomi dua negara terbesar di dunia, China dan Jepang masih belum bisa segera pulih. Data kedua negara itu di Agustus 2021 masih terus menunjukkan pelemahan.
Di Tiongkok, aktivitas di sektor jasa China alami kontraksi tajam pada Agustus 2021. Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) Caixin/Markit turun menjadi 46,7 pada Agustus dari 54,9 pada Juli. Capaian ini terjun ke level terendah sejak gelombang pertama pandemi pada April 2020.
Saat ini, sebagian wilayah di China memang sedang mengatasi wabah virus korona terbaru dari varian delta yang lebih menular. Sampai 1 September kemarin, ada satu kasus lokal yang dilaporkan setelah beberapa hari dari nol kasus.
