河南省水利厅：全省水旱灾害防御Ⅱ级应急响应提升为I级
记者7月21日凌晨从河南省水利厅获悉，从7月21日02时30分起，将水旱灾害防御Ⅱ级应急响应提升为I级应急响应。
7月18日8时至21日02:00分，河南省部分地区普降暴雨、特大暴雨，最大点雨量荥阳环翠峪雨量站854mm，尖岗818mm，寺沟756mm，重现期均超5000年一遇。据气象预测，河南省强降雨过程仍将持续。
目前全省已发生区域性严重洪涝灾害，水库堤防工程出险多，防汛形势十分严峻。按照《河南省水利厅水旱灾害防御应急预案》有关规定，河南省水利厅决定于7月21日02时30分起，将水旱灾害防御Ⅱ级应急响应提升为I级应急响应。
河南省水利厅要求，省各有关单位要在省委省政府的坚强领导下，切实履行好监测预报预警、水工程调度、抢险技术支撑等职责，确保水库大坝和堤防工程安全，强化山洪灾害防御，全力以赴做好洪水防御工作，确保人民群众生命财产安全。
