“欧元之父”罗伯特·蒙代尔去世
据意大利《新闻报》当地时间4月5日报道，诺贝尔经济学奖得主、欧洲货币联盟的理论构建者之一罗伯特·蒙代尔4日上午在意大利锡耶纳省的住所去世，终年88岁。
罗伯特·蒙代尔1932年10月出生于加拿大，是经济学中“最优货币区理论”奠基人，被称为“欧元之父”，上世纪70年代曾担任欧洲货币委员会顾问。1999年，他因在“不同汇率制度下的货币与财政政策以及最优货币区理论的研究”被授予诺贝尔经济学奖。
