泰航去年亏损1400多亿泰铢
泰国国际航空公司(泰航)25日向泰国证券交易所提交的财务报告显示，2020年净亏损达1411.7亿泰铢(约合46.9亿美元)。该公司2019年度的亏损额为120.4亿泰铢(约4亿美元)。
泰航称，受新冠肺炎疫情影响，泰航2020年全年营业收入仅483亿泰铢，同比减少73.8%。虽然公司采取了多项减支增收措施，但仍无法在全球航空业陷入寒冬的背景下扭转颓势。
有分析称，鉴于泰航已经资不抵债，可能将会被启动强制退市机制。据悉，泰国证券交易委员会将会用7天时间就是否需要对泰航启动退市程序展开讨论。
泰航是泰国最大的航空公司。近年来，该公司经营业绩持续下滑，而新冠肺炎疫情更令其财务状况雪上加霜。去年5月，该公司向法院申请债务重组，同年9月，泰国中央破产法院作出裁定，批准泰航进行重组，以利公司“轻装”前进，恢复活力。按照计划，泰航将于下月初向法院提交重组方案。
