Robinhood将保证金利率降低一半
免佣金经纪商Robinhood日前宣布已将其保费账户的年度保证金利率从之前的5％降低至2.5％。
更新后的费率将提供给Robinhood的黄金级别交易者，达到黄金级别只需每月支付5美元的高级服务费。
该公司一直在考虑进一步下调投资利率，其免佣金模式已经扰乱了零售交易行业，迫使现有平台提供零佣金交易服务。
Robinhood成立于2013年，吸引了一批零售交易者，主要是年轻一代。这款基于手机的交易应用程序在疫情隔离期间大受欢迎。
该平台拥有约1300万客户，价值117亿美元。此外，该公司还在为明年的IPO做准备，并聘请了投资银行巨头高盛，其上市估值有望达到200亿美元。
尽管取得了巨大的成功，Robinhood还是引起了广泛的批评。该应用被指责将零售交易“游戏化”，吸引了缺乏经验的交易者。该公司还面临美国马萨诸塞州证券监管机构的调查，原因是未能保护缺乏经验的交易者，还向他们积极推广产品。
此外，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）最近对该Robinhood处以6500万美元的罚款，原因是该应用程序未能完全披露其向做市商出售客户订单的行为。
