智通财经APP获悉，美联储允许美国大型银行从明年第一季度开始回购部分普通股，美国合众银行(USB.US)董事会随后批准回购该行最高价值30亿美元的已发行普通股。此外，该行打算将其季度普通股股息维持在每股42美分。
根据监管要求，美国银行的普通股本一级资本充足率要求保持在7.0%，其中包括压力资本缓冲资本比例为2.5%。根据美联储2020年压力测试的结果，该行的一级资本充足率和整体资本充足率分别为7.6%和7.8%，均高于监管要求。
据悉，美联储近日宣布，鉴于银行业在第二轮压力测试中表现良好，将允许美国大银行在一定条件下于2021年第一季度恢复股票回购。要求各大银行在明年3月前不可提高派息，上限是今年第二季度的派息水平，且第一季度银行的股息和回购总额不能超过最近四个季度的平均季度利润。
