美国司法部缴获巴西大型骗局欺诈所得
美国司法部(DOJ)周三宣布，从一个诈骗“数万名巴西人”2亿多美元的骗局中缴获了约2400万美元的加密货币。
根据美国司法部的声明，此次查封行动是在巴西请求协助一起调查这宗大型加密货币欺诈案之后进行的，巴西联邦警察将该案件称为“埃及行动”。
包括当地居民Marcos Antonios Fagundes在内的几名个人被指控参与了该计划，该计划在2017年8月至2019年5月期间进行。
Fagundes涉嫌经营一家未注册的金融机构，以持有他和他的同伙从受害者手中骗走的加密货币，并被控违反洗钱和证券法。
美国司法部说，加密货币似乎一直在美国境内。
