智通财经APP获悉，高盛周一对其客户表示，假如民主党在11月能够成功控制美国参众两院，这可能会释放财政闸门，并助力联邦政府推出更多财政刺激措施。
高盛首席经济学家Jan Hatzius在一份报告中写道，民主党在参议院取得多数席位便可以协调出台更多抗击卫生事件的救济措施、基础设施支出和新的最低工资立法。
Hatzius称，“国会民主党取得多数席位可能会大大增加政府的财政支持。我们预计，在参众两院和白宫都在民主党控制的情况下，支出将增加最多。”
他补充表示：“这可能包括在一季度推出刺激方案，随后是基础设施和气候立法。在这种情况下，我们预计扩大医保和其他福利的立法将于2021年三季度之前通过。”
