摩根士丹利因违规报告被CFTC罚款500万美元
美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）日前对摩根士丹利处以500万美元的罚款，理由是该公司违反各项掉期数据报告规则。
CFTC指出，摩根士丹利错误报告了约300万份掉期数据，时间在2012年12月31日或更早。错误包括主要经济术语数据字段，例如法人实体标识符、唯一掉期标识符、名义金额、执行地点LEI和价格符号。
此外，该公司掉期数据报告系统中的缺陷表明，针对一项资产类别的掉期交易中，有近一半未满足CFTC法规的要求。
考虑到违规程度，CFTC要求摩根士丹利任命一名合格的外部顾问，以促进其遵守掉期数据报告义务。
今年早些时候，金融业监管局（FINRA）也对摩根士丹利处以87.5万美元的罚款，原因是该公司未能以自动格式提供准确的交易数据，又名蓝表。
FINRA指出，至少从2014年到2017年，摩根士丹利的蓝表系统出现重大违规。
