智通财经APP获悉，周五，疫苗公司Moderna(MRNA.US)公司负责人表示，一项针对该公司疫苗的大型关键研究最早可能在10月得出疫苗是否安全的初步答案，不过更有可能是在11月。
Moderna首席执行官Stéphane Bancel在接受采访时表示，具体时间将取决于开展试验的美国地区的感染率，因为这项研究是比较疫苗接种者出现的症状是否比未接种疫苗的人更少。
美国总统特朗普此前曾表示，抗疫疫苗将在美国大选前问世。目前市场认为Moderna及辉瑞(PFE.US)旗下候选疫苗最后希望获批。而与辉瑞不同的是，Moderna的疫苗研发是依靠特朗普政府提供的资金。
不过，Stéphane Bancel在接受访谈时强调，公司没有受到来自政治的压力。Bancel称：“我们希望拥有最好的疫苗，而不是第一个研发出疫苗，我宁愿让疫苗晚一点问世，另外从商业角度和潜在的营业额来看，这不会有任何影响。”
