鲍威尔敦促国会继续财政支持 美联储将购买单个企业债
周三在面向美国众议院金融服务委员会作证时，美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔。“随着时间推移，我们将逐渐离开ETF，转而购买(单个企业的)债券，”他说，“对于支持流动性和市场运作而言，这是更好的工具。”
本周一，美联储宣布将资产购买范围扩展至企业债券。购买企业债券是联储此前推出的二级市场企业信贷便利(Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility，简称SMCCP)的一部分，目的是为了进一步向金融市场提供流动性。
美联储在3月23日启动了SMCCP，该项目的资产购买能力高达7500亿美元。此前，美联储已经在SMCCP下开始购买企业债ETF。
在宣布购买单个企业债的声明中，美联储表示将创建一个指数，将整个市场的债券囊括在内，前提是债券发行方在3月22日前拥有BBB-或Baa3评级。
鲍威尔还重申，在市场不需要支持后，他们将撤回包括购买企业债在内的工具。目前除了企业债，美联储每月还在购买至少800亿美元的国债和400亿美元的住房抵押贷款支持债券。
