委内瑞拉、阿根廷创下比特币P2P交易新纪录
委内瑞拉和阿根廷的点对点（P2P）交易平台LocalBitcoins上的比特币（BTC）每周交易量已分别达到这两个国家的历史新高。
加密货币数据网站CoinDance显示，阿根廷和委内瑞拉的LocalBitcoins平台以当地法定货币交易的交易量创下了新的纪录。
根据网站的数据，截至12月21日的一周，该平台上的交易额超过3,260万阿根廷比索（约合544,905美元），比两周前的记录高出34％。
另一方面，在委内瑞拉，同一周内，LocalBitcoins的交易量超过2,480亿玻利瓦尔（约合2,480万美元），比前一周的记录交易量高出近15.6％。
随着委内瑞拉央行采取了抑制比特币流入的措施，委内瑞拉的P2P交易量开始创下纪录。而阿根廷央行禁止每月购买比特币超过200美元，还禁止使用信用卡购买比特币。
9月中旬，阿根廷央行宣布有意在接下来的两个月中每月将比索的货币基础提高2.5％，此后，宣布了资本管制措施。
另一方面，委内瑞拉公民显然在使用比特币来规避玻利瓦尔的极端通货膨胀。9月下旬有报道称，委内瑞拉央行正在探索在其金库中持有比特币和以太币的可能性，这也可能刺激了交易量的增长。
