民调显示约翰逊在大选前夕领先优势缩窄 英镑急跌
在距离英国大选还有两天之际，一项备受关注的民调显示英国首相鲍里斯·约翰逊的领先优势下降一半以上。英镑一度闻讯下跌0.2%。
YouGov周二预测显示，保守党可能赢得下议院650个席位中的339席，工党料赢得231席，苏格兰民族党可能获得41席，自由民主党或得到15席。
若这项预测准确，则表明周四大选临近之际选情更加胶着。约翰逊将赌注押在提前大选，试图通过选举赢得多数席位，以便推动议会通过脱欧协议，从而在1月底前脱离欧盟。
如果工党与保守党的差距继续缩小，约翰逊就可能拿不到多数席位，这将使英国政治及该国与欧盟的未来关系陷入新的动荡。
民调结果公布前，英镑兑美元处于1.3215高位，但民调结果出炉后，交易员开始担心大选出现胶着甚至悬浮议会的结果，于是那些不坚定的英镑多头开始离场，英镑短线急跌，最低下探1.3108。
YouGov表示，预测模型出现的不确定性可能表明周四选举中没有一个党派能够赢得多数席位。YouGov政治研究主任Anthony Wells称：“根据模型，我们不排除出现悬浮议会。”
金融市场还担心，悬浮议会将给1月31日的最终英国脱欧前景增添更多不确定性，从而打击商业投资和消费情绪。
