美联储卡什卡利：支持进一步降息 但不确定还需要降息多少
明尼阿波利斯联邦储备银行行长尼尔-卡什卡利周一表示，他对美联储降低利率感到“高兴”。
卡什卡利在明尼苏达州普赖尔湖(Prior Lake)的一次活动中表示，他不确定美联储还需要降息多少，到目前为止美联储已经两次降息25个基点。相较于他的多位同事，卡什卡利希望将联邦基金利率降至更低。
这位明尼阿波利斯联储行长表示：“我的信息很明确，我们应该支持经济，而不是利用货币政策的漏洞。”至于未来会怎样，卡什卡利说，“我们还要削减多少，我还不知道。”
在最近的公开评论中，卡什卡利比他的同事更倾向于降息，并公开称在美联储实现2%的可持续目标之前不会再次加息。外界普遍预计美联储将在本月底再次降息，卡什卡利目前不是负责制定利率的联邦公开市场委员会(Federal Open Market Committee)的投票委员。
