国际清算银行宣布成立创新枢纽 中心之一将落户香港
国际清算银行昨日（6月30日）宣布成立“国际清算银行创新枢纽”，借此促进全球央行之间的创新金融科技合作。
创新枢纽将发挥以下作用：
- 识别及深入探讨对中央银行运作会有深远影响的科技趋势；
- 开发科技领域的公共产品，改善全球金融体系的运作；
- 作为汇聚中央银行创新专家的平台。
国际清算银行成立于1930年，是由60间中央银行成员持股的国际金融组织。该组织又被称为“央行的银行”，其宗旨是服务中央银行以维持货币及金融稳定，同时促进中央银行在这方面的合作。
据汇讯网了解，创新枢纽的其中一个中心将会落户香港，香港金融管理局对此表示欢迎。该机构总裁陈德霖表示：“我很高兴国际清算银行将会在香港设立一个创新枢纽中心，这充分表明了香港在创新金融科技发展及应用方面的领先地位，以及香港充满活力的金融科技生态。”
