Banyak yg kira inflasi naik = harga emas pasti ikut naik. Padahal kenyataannya nggak sesederhana itu.
Kalau The Fed naikin suku bunga untuk lawan inflasi, USD jadi makin menarik. Investor bakal geser ke aset yang ngasih yield, kayak obligasi. Jadinya, permintaan emas malah turun, karena emas nggak ngasih bunga.
Jadi, bukan cuma liat inflasi, tapi perhatiin juga efek kebijakan suku bunga AS.
