EUR/USD naik karena efek sektor jasa
Sementara itu, Euro (EUR) menjadi stabil karena data PMI Jasa yang kuat memicu ekspektasi inflasi sektor jasa. Hal ini dipandang berpotensi mempengaruhi Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) seiring dengan upaya mereka untuk terus memangkas suku bunga.
Meskipun penurunan suku bunga pada bulan Juni mungkin masih merupakan “fait accomplis”, menurut Luis de Guindos, Wakil Presiden ECB, rekannya di ECB, Presiden Bundesbank Joachim Nagel lebih berhati-hati pada hari Rabu.
Nagel mengatakan, “Inflasi jasa tetap tinggi, didorong oleh pertumbuhan upah yang kuat,” dan sampai inflasi turun secara berkelanjutan, dia tidak dapat “berkomitmen terlebih dahulu pada jalur suku bunga tertentu.
