Pengambil kebijakan Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) dan Kepala Bundesbank Joachim Nagel mengatakan pada hari Rabu bahwa penurunan suku bunga pada bulan Juni belum tentu diikuti dengan serangkaian penurunan suku bunga.
