Pesanan Barang Tahan Lama di AS naik 2,6%, atau $7,3 miliar, menjadi $283,4 miliar di bulan Maret, Biro Sensus AS melaporkan pada hari Rabu. Angka ini mengikuti kenaikan 0,7% (direvisi dari 1,4%) yang tercatat di bulan Februari.
"Tidak termasuk transportasi, pesanan baru meningkat 0,2%," Biro Sensus AS mengatakan dalam siaran persnya. "Tidak termasuk pertahanan, pesanan baru meningkat 2,3%. Peralatan transportasi, juga naik dua bulan berturut-turut, memimpin kenaikan, $6,8 miliar atau 7,7%, menjadi $95,9 miliar."
