EUR/USD masih tidak terinspirasi oleh survei ZEW Jerman dan Zona Euro yang optimis.
Indeks Sentimen Ekonomi ZEW Jerman melonjak dari 31,7 di bulan Maret menjadi 42,9 di bulan April, mengalahkan ekspektasi pasar sebesar 35,1.
Namun, Indeks Situasi Saat Ini membaik dari -80,5 menjadi -79,2 di bulan yang sama.
Indeks Sentimen Ekonomi ZEW Zona Euro berada pada angka 43,9 pada bulan April, jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan angka bulan Maret sebesar 33,5. Data tersebut melampaui konsensus pasar sebesar 37,2.
Poin-poin penting
Pemulihan ekonomi global meningkatkan ekspektasi terhadap Jerman, dengan separuh responden memperkirakan perekonomian negara tersebut akan meningkat dalam enam bulan ke depan.
Peningkatan optimisme ini juga didukung oleh membaiknya penilaian terhadap situasi dan ekspektasi ekonomi di negara tujuan ekspor Jerman.
Hal ini antara lain tercermin pada ekspektasi apresiasi dolar AS terhadap Euro
