Anggota Dewan Pengurus Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) Gediminas Šimkus mengatakan pada hari Senin bahwa ada kemungkinan lebih dari 50% terhadap lebih dari tiga kali penurunan suku bunga tahun ini, menurut Reuters.

Šimkus lebih lanjut mencatat bahwa guncangan geopolitik, seperti meningkatnya konflik Israel-Iran, dapat menyebabkan mereka menunda penurunan suku bunga pertama hingga Juli dari bulan Juni.
