Pound Sterling semakin jatuh setelah mundur dari level tertinggi dua minggu di 1,2680. Pasangan GBP/USD gagal bertahan di atas Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) 20 hari dan 50 hari, yang diperdagangkan di sekitar 1,2660. Sementara itu, EMA 200 hari di 1,2566 terus memberikan support.
Dalam jangka waktu yang lebih luas, support horizontal dari terendah 8 Desember di 1,2500 akan memberikan dukungan lebih lanjut kepada Pound Sterling. Sementara itu, kenaikan diperkirakan akan tetap terbatas di dekat level tertinggi delapan bulan di sekitar 1,2900.
Relative Strength Index (RSI) 14 periode rebound di atas 40,00 setelah tergelincir di bawahnya. Hal ini tidak boleh dianggap sebagai “pembalikan bullish” sampai harga menembus di atas 60,00
