Harga emas (XAU/USD) naik ke level tertinggi sepanjang masa di atas angka bulat psikologis $2.300 selama awal sesi Asia pada hari Kamis. Data PMI Jasa ISM AS yang lebih lemah dari perkiraan untuk bulan Maret dan spekulasi bahwa Federal Reserve (Fed) telah mencapai puncak siklus kenaikan suku bunganya meningkatkan permintaan logam kuning.

Emas mendapatkan momentum karena pasar memperkirakan penurunan suku bunga pertama di bulan Juni. Menurut CME FedWatch Tool, pasar kini memperkirakan hampir 62% peluang penurunan suku bunga pada pertemuan kebijakan The Fed tanggal 11-12 Juni
