USD/MXN memangkas sebagian kenaikannya hari ini karena pembeli gagal menaklukkan level terendah tahun lalu di 16,62. Hal ini telah membuka pintu bagi kemunduran, karena penjual mengincar terendah Oktober 2015 di 16,32 sebelum menantang 16,00. Di sisi lain, jika pembeli menaikkan nilai tukar di atas 16,62, hal ini akan mengekspos titik terendah bulanan di bulan Januari di 16,78, diikuti oleh titik tertinggi pada 19 Maret di 16,94. Berikutnya adalah Simple Moving Average (SMA) 50 hari di 16,97
