Presiden Federal Reserve Bank Atlanta Raphael Bostic mengatakan pada hari Senin bahwa pihaknya ingin menghindari volatilitas dari limpasan neraca.

Bostic menambahkan bahwa ia memperkirakan perekonomian dan inflasi AS akan melambat secara bertahap dan mengulangi ekspektasinya bahwa bank sentral AS akan menurunkan suku bunga kebijakannya sekali pada tahun ini.

Pada hari Jumat, ia mencatat bahwa inflasi turun lebih lambat dari yang diperkirakan, dengan banyak barang mencatat kenaikan harga yang sangat besar
