Harga emas berada di bawah tekanan setelah angka inflasi AS lebih tinggi dari perkiraan. Hal ini menyebabkan perkiraan pasar untuk pemotongan pada bulan Juni turun dari 93% menjadi 77%. FOMC mengatakan perlu lebih banyak bukti untuk melihat inflasi menuju target 2% sebelum mulai menurunkan suku bunga.
