Gubernur Bank of Japan (BoJ) Kazuo Ueda mengatakan dalam pidato parlemennya pada hari Selasa, “ketika pencapaian inflasi 2% secara stabil dan berkelanjutan sudah terlihat, kami akan mencari jalan keluar dari suku bunga negatif, YCC dan langkah-langkah pelonggaran moneter skala besar lainnya.”

Urutan penghentian berbagai alat pelonggaran moneter akan bergantung pada kondisi ekonomi, harga, dan keuangan pada saat itu.

Dimungkinkan untuk mengendalikan suku bunga jangka pendek pada tingkat yang sesuai dengan membayar bunga atas cadangan yang diparkir di BoJ.
