Dolar Australia (AUD) sedikit melemah di bulan Februari terhadap Dolar AS (USD) dari 0,6596 menjadi 0,6503. Ekonom di MUFG Bank menganalisis prospek Australia.
Apresiasi bertahap melampaui risiko jangka pendek
Meningkatnya prospek soft landing perekonomian global membantu memberikan dukungan bagi AUD sementara kondisi domestik dapat bertahan lebih baik dari perkiraan.
Kondisi Tiongkok dan global akan tetap penting bagi RBA tetapi dengan bank-bank sentral utama mulai melakukan pemotongan pada musim panas, mungkin diperlukan bulan September sebelum pemotongan RBA.
Jika ekonomi global berhasil mencapai titik lemah, maka prospek AUD/USD bagus untuk melihat penembusan di atas level 0,7000.
