FxPro高级分析师Alex Kuptsikevich指出：除食品外的价格年同比增速放缓至2.0%，为自2022年3月以来最低水平，回落至日本央行的目标水平。然而，除食品和能源外更少波动的指标在1月份从3.7%放缓至3.5%。尽管如此，这仍然是上世纪80年代初以来的最高水平，因此值得监管机构的关注。
通胀数据还助力推动日本2年期国债收益率升至2011年以来的最高水平。
