 “Pasar mengharapkan penurunan suku bunga tahun ini, kami tidak mendukung kurva pasar, namun bukan tidak masuk akal bagi pasar untuk berpikir demikian,” kata Gubernur Bank of England (BoE) Andrew Bailey saat memberikan kesaksian di hadapan Komite Pemilihan Departemen Keuangan Inggris pada hari Selasa.

 “Kita harus menempuh jalur yang sempit dalam kebijakan moneter,” Bailey menambahkan dan mencatat bahwa ada banyak penekanan pada resesi Inggris dibandingkan pada laporan kuat mengenai lapangan kerja.
