 Kepala ekonom Bank Sentral Eropa Philip Lane mengatakan pada hari Kamis bahwa dampak pengetatan kebijakan moneter masih berlangsung dan menambahkan bahwa ada transmisi lanjutan kenaikan suku bunga ke kondisi pembiayaan yang lebih luas, menurut Reuters.

 Sebelumnya pada hari ini, pembuat kebijakan ECB Pablo Hernandez de Cos mengatakan bahwa langkah kebijakan berikutnya adalah penurunan suku bunga namun mencatat bahwa mereka masih memerlukan waktu untuk mengetahui waktu yang tepat dari poros kebijakan tersebut.
