英国通胀意外大幅降温
根据国家统计局报告，11月通货膨胀率降至 3.9%，较上月的 4.6% 大幅下降。 通胀放缓的原因是交通、娱乐、文化和食品等方面价格下滑，其中燃料价格带来的下行压力最大。 路透社调查的经济学家预测降幅略小，为 4.4%。
各种投入成本均减少：原物料下降2.6%，运输成本下降1.4%，出厂价格下降0.2%。尽管物价冷却，但 3.9% 的数据仍然是英国央行 2% 通胀目标的近两倍。 因此，政策官员表示，尽管今年为控制通胀而实施的升息增加了借贷成本，但现在讨论降息还为时过早。
