当地时间11月28日，投资天才、沃伦·巴菲特的黄金搭档查理·芒格（Charlie Munger）去世，享年99岁。
伯克希尔CEO、“股神”沃伦·巴菲特（Warren Buffett）在声明中表示：“没有查理的灵感、智慧和参与，伯克希尔不可能达到今天的地位。”
芒格有着“行走的百科全书”、“幕后智囊”、“最后的秘密武器”等称呼，与巴菲特一同制定了长期投资公司的哲学，两人的关系可以追溯到1959年，是投资界的一对“神仙组合”。
被视为伯克希尔·哈撒韦公司代表人物的巴菲特一直强调，公司由自己和芒格共同运营，是芒格教会了他伯克希尔的关键投资哲学，即“以合理价格买入优秀的企业”，并形容两人的关系是“他是设计师，而我是总承包商”。
例如，早在1972年，芒格成功说服巴菲特同意伯克希尔以2500万美元的价格购入时思糖果公司（See’s Candies），尽管这家糖果制造商当时每年的税前收入仅约为400万美元。后来，时思糖果公司为伯克希尔创造了总计超过20亿美元的销售额。
