ASIC暂停JB Markets和First City金融服务牌照
11月16日，澳大利亚证券交易委员会（ASIC）宣布自11月8日起暂停JB Markets Pty Ltd（JB Markets）的澳大利亚金融服务（AFS）许可证直至2024年4月30日。
ASIC解释，暂停JB Markets的牌照是因为该公司未遵守相关的金融牌照要求，且没有充足的资源来提供牌照所涵盖的金融服务并执行监督安排。ASIC还表示，牌照暂停期间，JB Markets及其代表无法提供金融服务（以结束客户现有安排为目的的服务除外）。
同时，JB Markets作为澳大利亚金融投诉管理局的一员，在牌照暂停期间需继续为零售客户提供赔偿安排。
JB Markets自2008年7月8日起持有澳大利亚金融服务许可证，编号323182。该牌照使JB Markets有权向零售和大额投资客户提供金融产品建议、交易、营销及托管或存款服务。
就在同一天，ASIC也暂停了First City Corporate Advisory Services Pty Limited （First City）的金融服务牌照。暂停期从2023年10月3日持续到2024年3月27日。
