JEFFERSON dari FED: KETIDAKPASTIAN SEKITAR PERSISTENSI INFLASI MUNGKIN MENJAMIN RESPON KEBIJAKAN
Wakil Ketua Federal Reserve (Fed) Philip N. Jefferson mengatakan pada hari Selasa bahwa beberapa ukuran ketidakpastian ekonomi, terutama inflasi, meningkat, menurut Reuters.
“Ketidakpastian seputar persistensi inflasi mungkin memerlukan respons kebijakan yang lebih kuat dibandingkan sebaliknya,” tambah Jefferson dan menjelaskan bahwa keputusan kebijakan yang diambil dalam kondisi ketidakpastian mungkin terlihat berbeda dari keputusan optimal dalam kondisi pasti.
