通胀率维持1.7%不变
2023年10月，瑞士年通胀率稳定在1.7%，符合市场预测。消费者物价指数（CPI）较上月上涨0.1%，扭转了下降0.1%的局面。
环比上涨 0.1% 的因素有很多，其中包括加热用燃油和航空运输价格上涨。女装外套、夹克以及进口红酒也出现价格上涨。另一方面，饭店、汽油和新鲜果菜价格下跌。
欧元区调和消费者物价指数（HICP）为欧盟国间标准化指标，对瑞士和其他欧盟成员国之间的通胀进行比较。
根据 HICP 衡量，瑞士的生活成本连续第三个月上涨 0.1%，这表明尽管整体通胀数据相对较低，但通胀仍在逐步上升。较去年同期成长2.0%。然而，瑞士在通货膨胀方面保持卓越的记录，在这方面一直超过德国和欧元区国家。

瑞士法郎从一个月低点反弹
瑞士法郎兑美元汇率升至0.9以上，脱离10月31日所触及的四周低点。瑞士法郎的涨势归部分归因于瑞士国家银行 (SNB) 的强力干预，该银行已出售大量瑞士法郎外汇支持瑞郎并减轻能源价格上涨造成的进口通胀的影响。根据瑞士央行的数据，9月其外汇存底达到五年多来的最低水准。
