加元自低点反弹，但升值受限
加元兑美元汇率上升至 1.37，从11 月 1 日的一年低点 1.39 强劲反弹。由于美国疲软的劳动数据，强化了美联储可能推迟进一步升息的迹象，美元指数(DXY)普遍回落加强了这一复苏脚步。
然而，令人失望的加国经济数据限制了升值幅度，同时投资者强化加拿大央行（BoC）采取温和政策手段的预期。
在10月份，加拿大失业率升至21个月来最高水平，达到5.7%，超出市场预期。此外，薪资成长持续放缓，新就业创造低于预期，显示加拿大劳动力市场也出现弱化迹象。在最近利率会议上，加国央行决定维持利率不变，并扩大未来升息所需的灵活性，并指出先前的紧缩措施已经限制需求并压抑通胀。
