 Pesanan Barang Tahan Lama di AS sedikit meningkat pada bulan Agustus.
 Indeks Dolar AS tetap di wilayah positif, ditutup di 106,50.
 Pesanan Barang Tahan Lama di AS naik 0,2%, atau $0,5 miliar, menjadi $284,7 miliar di bulan Agustus, Biro Sensus AS melaporkan pada hari Rabu.  Angka ini mengikuti penurunan 5,6% (direvisi dari 5,2%) yang tercatat di bulan Juli dan lebih baik dari ekspektasi pasar yaitu penurunan 0,5%.

 "Tidak termasuk transportasi, pesanan baru meningkat 0,4%," bunyi siaran persnya.  "Tidak termasuk pertahanan, pesanan baru turun 0,7%. Mesin, naik empat dari lima bulan terakhir, memimpin kenaikan, $0,2 miliar, atau 0,5%, menjadi $37,8 miliar."
