DE COS ECB: TINGKAT SAAT INI UNTUK CUKUP PANJANG DAPAT MENDAPATKAN INFLASI MENJADI TUJUAN 2%
Berbicara pada konferensi di Madrid pada hari Senin. Anggota Dewan Pengurus Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) Pablo Hernandez de Cos mengatakan, “Jika kita mempertahankan suku bunga pada level ini cukup lama, ada peluang bagus bahwa kita akan mampu mencapai target 2% pada waktu yang tepat.”
“Pendekatan ini sangat penting untuk menghindari pengetatan yang tidak memadai, yang akan menghambat pencapaian target inflasi kita, dan pengetatan yang berlebihan, yang akan merusak aktivitas ekonomi dan lapangan kerja,” tambah de Cos.
